Lately I have been setting my key to try not to touch the mouse. But I have a problem with something as simple as clicking the mouse and moving a video clip anywhere. Does anyone know how I can do that with keyboard shortcuts?

a solution to your specific example:

In the Sequence menu choose 'selection follows playhead'.

Now any clip under the playhead will be selected.

When you are at a specific highlighted clip hold 'option' and use the up and down arrows to move a clip up or down in the timeline. Also use the up/down arrows (without holding option) to navigate from clip to clip in the timeline.

Note: for timelines with layered clips - the clip automatically selected will be determined by track targeting (the blue tabs on the left of your timeline).
