Move an image using a script

Hi 👋

 

I'd like to reproduce the graph we can see in the middle of that video with the time gap between the two cars in real time. For this I have another script that returns the coordinates the top view car image would have. For example if the gap is 0s the car image will have a Y at 0, if it's 0.5s then its Y will be 200.

 

So how can I have these coordinates to be imported without having to write them manually frame by frame ?

I would rather go do this inside After Effects and use 'expressions'.
