moving a clip to the timeline auto resizes the clip.

Hello, Im having this issue where I grab a clip and move it to the time line it gets auto resized smaller than the project size. I may have accidentally touched a setting I am unaware of. This is really inconvenint cause now i have resize every clip in the video back to the proper project size. Any help or insights on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

I would go to preferences/media/and make sure that the default media scaling drop down is set to none.

Preferences can be found under the edit drop down on Windows or the Premiere Pro drop down on Mac.
