Moving files from project to timeline issue

Files will not transfer from Project Panel to Timeline Panel, but if just dropped into timeline from file on computer will transfer over no problem. It will transfer the audio-only from the files, but no video. This is a new problem for me. Using the most updated Premiere Pro that is available.

The most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor. Then drag/insert into timeline.
