Have not seen this been reported yet.
When in icon view in media browser whith numerous different mp3 tried, Pr tries to create the .cfa and .pek to no avail besides the file (because option is checked in parameters) and the icon flashes as shown in the video capture.
Switching lo list view calms everything and we are able to see the clip and import it. The .cfa and .pek are then created correctly.
This behavior can be seen in 2022 and 2023 windows 10 versions on three different types of computers whith different hardwares.
mp3 is a 32b floating point. It is on an network drive but the problem is seen on a local one as well to a lesser effect.
Yes, converting them to .wav is solving the issue, but still, this is strange
