Do you have somewhere a tuto who explains how to import MTS files in the timeline (Premiere Pro)?

When I inport this 6 MTS files (from a AVCHD) the sound is shifted from the image.

Thank you for your help !

Try transcodin them first using Handbrake (free) to something like DNxHD/R (or ProRes if on a Mac) or Cineform. The clips probably use avariable frame rate which Adobe doesn'tplay well with.

Hi John, Thank you very much for your reply. I understand now! But Handbrake doesn't convert to ProRes!

Maybe you could advise me another professional software that would convert to ProRes?

I tried with Adobe Media Encoder, but it doesn't work also, the sound is still shifted on the ProRes (.mov) it has created!

On the other hand the mp4 file created with Handbrake works correctly on Premiere.

Cheers.

That's why I mentioned DNxHd or DnxHR (Avid codecs) You can use MP4 if it plays nicely with your system
