I like cutting with multi-cam frequently. I always make sure the right track is toggled when multi-cam is enabled. I have shortcut set to cut/add edit on certain points I feel like I should cut to while playing back. It helps me so that I don't have to hover my mouse to pick the shot I'd like to in case I miss the point of where I intend to cut. I can then simply make sure the playhead is over the clip so that's it is selected (with the use of selection follows playhead) which then allows me to click on the take I'd like on the multi-cam. It seems this workflow will not work for me anymore because as soon as I hit my shortcut to cut/add edit, the multi-cam dissappears even if the multi-cam is toggled in the program monitor.
Now it's taking me extra steps in order to ensure the cuts land where I'd like them. I'm aware I can use the number keys to switch between cameras but it isn't ideal for me as it was much easier to focus on pressing one key and then selecting the take I'd like right after. Plus, it can get pretty complicated when you have multiple takes too dig through. I have to play around with pressing stuff on the timeline, often disabling and re-enabling multicam to get it back to work again but as soon as press cut, it's over. It doesn't work. I've been using this workflow for years and now I feel like I'm editing with one hand while trying to deliver with a tightdeadline.

Upvoting. It's now a well known bug/glitch I did a list of all the post I found with the same problem. The workaround that some have been doing is downgrade to 23.3
