Hello,
I'm editing a video for a client with 4 different cameras. I have to use the audio from 1 specific camera as that one has the best audio quality. However, premiere pro chooses the audio from 'camera 1' and this seems to be randomly one of the four clips. I tried everything, renaming the clips into camera 1/2/3/4, renaming only the right audio clip into camera 1, anything... it chooses randomly the audio of one of the other clips regardless of order or name of the clips.
how do I specify which clip premiere has to 'see as' 'camera 1'?
these are the steps I took:
- load in all four clips
- put them in a new bin
- select all and choose 'create multi camera source sequence'
- in the dialog box select audio as synchronize point (channel 1)
- in the audio box select 'camera 1'
Thanks in advance I hope someone can help me out!
The first clip selected is the one that will be used for the " Main audio" for your multicam when you use the sequence setting " Camera 1".
So don't use Ctrl + A to select your audio. Choose first the clip with the best audio and then use Ctrl to select the others.
If you have an audio only file in your selection, PPRO will use this file as the master audio.

Is it possible to simply take the audio track from the 'good' camera and lay this underneath the multicam (muting all other audio channels)?
