Problem happens with both apps: Premeire V23.2.0 (Build 69) and Beta v23.4.0 BETA (Build 37)
After creating a multicam sequence (syncronized) from clips with or without converting to proxy files, playback will stick or become unresponsive from a few seconds to minutes. Can't stop it from playing, lags or just plain unresponsive. No matter what quality settings or type of proxy files I create, using proxy or not. The issue definitely happens when I enable "Toggle Multicam View" and it pulls up the multicam layout in program monitor. On that same sequence with the "Toggle Multicam View" off, I can scrub, play any speed and it's solid. Once that "Toggle Multicam View" is enabled on..... issues occur.
I build a high end PC with the highest memory, graphics card and CPU. So it's not that. I can playback/edit 4K video through multiple layers without rendering.
I tried all the tricks that are out there to resolve this multicam playback bug. So now I'm reporting the issue. I'll be glad to help report back results from any suggestions outside what is found on the discussion forms. I found a post that said this BETA build "claimed it was addressing" the issue. At first it seemed to be better responsive but as I played the sequence more, the problem exsisted and other build issues became apparent. Like not able to save "Custom Keyboard Shortcuts" which I have another post covering.
