For the past several years, as each new iteration of Premiere was released, [text removed].

But now, no matter how I have that setting set, the behaviour is the same: Premiere will open new projects on top of the old, rather than switching between them. 

Is there a new setting somewhere that I'm overlooking or is manually closing and reopening Premiere/projects the only way to work around this , ahem, "feature" now?
