Music Video Editing: Audio/Video Sychronize issues

I am editing a performance-based music video. I have about 12 difference shots of the band playing to the master audio track. All week long, every shot sync-ed up perfectly when I would used the "Synchronize" feature. Now all of the sudden, a handful of my clips (of the drummer in particular!) are not syncing. I am getting this error message that a match could not be found.

I've done everything from me-importing the original footage, trying different channels to sync to "Audio 1, Mixdown, etc), to restarting Premiere, to even recutting the raw footage I shot of the drummer, yet nothing works. This happened all of the sudden, as all my shots were seamlessly syncing all week long. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Vfr is known to give issues.

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Premiere.

If that doesn't work, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean install of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver)

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

I would just sync manually, drums are fairly easy to do.
