My After Effects Compositions and Nested Sequences are all Media Pending in Premiere Pro

I've been working on After Effects and importing a lot of compositions into Premiere Pro. For some reason, all of my After Effects Compositions are all Media Pending. When I try to replace the Compositions in Premiere Pro the program seems to not respond and crash. I've also tried to locate/link the media; however, it always pops up Connecting to Dynamic Link, which never Connects(I left Adobe on for 30 minutes). I have reset my Adobe Premiere Pro preferences and cleared the media cache, but the problem seems to persist. Is there any way that I can regain my After Effect Compositions back into Premiere Pro?

I'm having a similar issue whereby the After Effects composition has to be open for it not to be 'Media Pending'. Very annoying!
