Nest Issues

Community Beginner ,
Feb 18, 2025 Feb 18, 2025

I have like 10 hours footage and need to replace audio layer with another sequance which has 2 hours long.
-Nested audio layer (where I want exactly) -named "replace"

-Opened the sequance where I want to put my audio layer.

-I selected (highlighted) cutted audio layer only ,and replaced it with "replace" named nest. Holding "Alt" key and dragging.

-It ignores the nest begining timecode, begining with 10 hours footage uncut version.

Is it my fault or some bug?

Hi @Bleedistaken - Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?

If you need to set a specific timecode for your sequence, click the hamburger menu next to the sequence name in the timeline panel and select “Start Time".

1- When I try to replace my main audio layer -which has cuts on it- with another audio-only sequance, each cut point resetting the timecode of audio-only sequance. Starting over on each cut point.

2-Adobe Premiere Pro 25.0

3-Windows 11 Version 24H2 02

4- Msi 4060, Intel i5-12600KF-16*2 DDR4 32 GB RAM

Expecting Result : Should apply every cut while replaceing, do I need to render "replace" named audio layer first ?

Hi @Bleedistaken - Are you able to post a screen recording to better understand your issue?

a nested audio layer only has one timecode.  If you need the timecode for all of your clips then you need to insert the clips into your sequence and not the nest.

Does it help if you uncheck the box in the screenshot?
