New project_audio seems to have an auto fade-up for each clip.

Hi I've just started using Premiere Pro and I imported my clips. I've also used the narration tool to do some voice over. Every audio clip has an fx icon on it and there's an auto-fade in when there is a gap between clips, which I did not apply.

How can I:

  1.  Remove the auto-fades
  2.  Set up new projects to avoid this happening.

Thank you,

Evelyn

Hi - yes, I discovered that using my noise reduction headphones fades up my audio when there's a break in the track. Thank you all so much - I've got it figured out now.

Please post screenshot of these FX icons, what color are they?

Premiere does not add auto fades.
