New to Premiere Pro and do not comprehend this, likely obvious but would appreciate help!

In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-sNJs-MFYo at time of 1:06:46 he set scale to 55 and then 60, which zooms in. I do not understand how this happens as that only does the opposite for me and zooms out.

Help much appreciated!

You need to post screenshots of what you have been doing. Or better yet, a screen recording.

As of now, it's just guessing.

He works with keyframes for animating the scale amount.
By clicking the little clock icon, he enables keyframes and adds the first keyframe too.

You can see the scale amount on the left keyframe is set to 55. The scale amount set at the right keyframe is 60.
Now that keyframes are enabled, the scale amount will linearly move from 55 to 60 in between those keyframes.
If you get a Zoom-Out, you'll likely have a higher scale amount on the left keyframe than you've set on the right keyframe.
