New update damaged my project file

The new update to premiere damaged a very important project file and I am no longer able to open the file. I am wondering if there is any way that I can revert to a previous version of premiere or somehow fix this damaged file? I need to recover the work that exists in the sequences within the project file.

An update does not touch the project file.

Go into the CC desktop app and reinstall previous version.
