No Audio Output Premiere Pro 24

This is a porblem I have seen a handful of people have when searching around, but either there are no solutions offered, or the solutions for that particular person don't work for me. It's pretty simple: I'm getting no audio output when I playback. The meters move normally, but no signal is shown in the Windows system mixer (When using MME).

Things I have tried/checked (restarting Premiere in between changes):

- Using my audio device's ASIO driver (Preferences > Audio Hardware)

- Using my audio device's MME driver (Preferences > Audio Hardware)

- Adjusting latency (Preferences > Audio Hardware)

- Opening the Audio Clip Mixer and Audio Track Mixer to check if there is anything in there that might be related. All meters are bouncing and I see no options related to output from Premiere.

- Creating a new sequence and ensuring that it's a standard stereo audio one

- Moving audio files to different tracks in the sequence

- Various different files with audio (various video files with audio tracks, wav files, mp3 files, etc)

The behavior doesn't change. No audio is emitted from Premiere, even though the UI behaves as if everything is working.

Windows 10 Home. Multiple Premiere version from the past have worked on this machine.

Yeah, the problem still occurs. I haven't engaged much in any testing, because I just use the Premiere Pro Beta version, where the problem doesn't occur.

Hi @AnalogWeapon23

Thanks for the message. Ah, I had a similar problem. I had a corrupt sequence. I fixed this issue by copy/pasting the contents of my sequence to a new sequence. Have you tried that? I hope it works. Sorry for the hassle. Take care.

Thanks,
Kevin

I can go back and test some more this week but, for me, it was happening
all the time; Even with a brand new project. Whereas any other version of
Premiere on the same machine did not have this problem.
