No easy solution for sending proxy-only project to an editor without dual system sound files

Pretty sure I know the answer here but wanted to make sure I'm not missing something:

When you have a Production on shared storage (LucidLink) where both the Production files and proxies are shared and the raw media is on local drives, anyone with access can review the footage without needing the raw media since the proxies are connected. However, if you've used multicam sync to match up your footage with separately recorded audio then it doesn't work -- the new editor can't hear anything becuase they don't have access to the raw audio files. No way around this other than giving them full access to the media, yeah?

I think that is correct ... but of course interested if someone has evidence otherwise.
