I have NPR's PLanet money podcast playing via their website.

I click to play and the podcast plays when I click back over to Adobe Premiere the audio from any web page will not play.

It is like Adobe Premiere is overriding all other audio outside of Premiere. It is not just websites. If I play a MP4 file through Windows Media player as soon as I click back into Premiere I get an error on the video playback.

Hi arielles,

Check Premiere Pro Audio Hardware preferences. Can you show us a screenshot?

Thanks,

Same. I have now tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and fixed it. And close the browser. Please do not play external media while opening Adobe Premiere Pro.

You can also download music or podcasts from Pandora, then play them in your media player instead of from the browser.
