No Replaceable Fonts Error

Upon opening a a project in Premiere Pro (Mac 15.2.0 build 3S), I receive two sets of font-related error events:

  • 4 x "Invalid font family... replaced by Courier" (this is my default replacement font)
  • 2 x "Adobe Title Designer: Missing Font ... replaced with <Courier>"

When I follow the prevailing wisdom, I go to the Graphics menu --> Replace Fonts in Project, and am returned an error dialogue: "No Replaceable Fonts."

I no longer have the two missing fonts (nor do I want them). Functionally, the Courier replacement works fine, but has anyone else experienced this error?  How can I, once and for all, fix this and avoid the error dialogue every time I open the project?

I'm having the exact same problem on Premiere Pro 14.8.0 Build 39. I hope someone can offer us assistance with this.
