Following the Adobe tutorial, I've exported a Final Cut Pro 7 project into Premiere Pro 22. All of the titles (lower thirds) in the project end up in one large "3D Title" file that is black with no text. I saw a similar post from a Avid user:
Thanks for any suggestions!
Titles made with the Final Cut Pro classic Text Generator do not come across.
If the FCP project is still available and can be opened, exporting a reference cut is pretty common for manually recreating the titles in Premiere Pro.
The Batch Export in FCP classic can be used to export the Text Generators (as stills with alpha or video with alpha) to be imported into Premiere Pro, but while this maintains the appearance it of course does not keep them editable.
