Nudge Commands Do Not Work after Copy/Paste Function

Hey just noticed this bug in the new version of Premiere 24.4.1 (Build 2). After copying a clip from one sequence into another, despite the clip being selected, and the focus being in the timeline, I am unnable to use the keyboard commands to nudge, slip, or slide the clip. I must first unselect and then reselect the clip to be able to regain control.

iMac Retina 5K 27-inch 2020

3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel i9

AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16GB

64GB Memory

Mac OS X (Sonoma 14.5)

There was another post about this, it might have been yours though. Update to 24.5, I don't believe it is an issue there.
