Old version of Premiere Pro not recognized by Creative Cloud

I had to transfer my BIOS to a new SSD which meant reinstalling all of my Adobe apps. After fighting Premiere 2024 I realized I could still access the 2021 version if I launched it from it's exe file. Premiere saves all of the files and even fonts I've uploaded to it, I'm even still logged into my Adobe account, but everytime I step away from a project for more than a day it completely deletes all of my presets and I'm going insane. I either have to crunch time 3 months worth of clips to be able to subtitle them or remake the presets everytime I want to work on a project.

I just want it to save my presets man 😕 I don't understand why I'm having to troubleshoot such a simple problem in 2025, especially when I pay for all of their apps.

I painstakingly combed through every file listed in the presets tab then searched by letter to double check I hadn't missed anything. The presets I had made finally showed up. I myself didn't do anything specific to fix this problem, Premiere decided to save the presets this time around for a reason I don't know.

By @MylesCat

The BIOS is not located on an SSD. It is located on the motherboard.

I think you mean OS, Not BIOS.

I'm so sorry a mere PC peasant like me would get such an obvious thing wrong, for the OS vs BOIS is the most important part of my post and if you hadn't responded to correct me purely on that... my life would be in ruins! I'll make sure to amputate the very hands that lead to the misuse of those words using leaches from the cornering lagoon, in your honor of course my liege...

In these complicated apos, terminology matters.

And as this thread will be viewed many times by others over the next however many years, the clarification wasn't any insult at all, just an attempt to keep future readers from being confused.
