Older Project replaced B-roll clips with unknown .MXF File

I'm working on an older project made before this last major update. All of my B-roll clips have been replaced by a single .mxf file that doesn't exist. They should be various .mov files. 

Is this fixable? 

Is this new update nuking all of my old projects?

Delete the Media Cache and Media Cache files:

Then create a new project and import the old one into it.
