Open CS5 in newer version

I tried opening a CS5 project, after which it asked for conversion, which I did. I also tried creating a new project and importing the older project. In both cases, the order of the clips has been mixed up so the whole sequence is unusable. How can I open a workable copy of a CS5 edited file on the latest version of Premiere Pro?

CC is completely different from CS.

Might need CS6 to convert first.

Make a screenshot of CS5 timeline and rebuild in CC.
