Is there a way to open a Mac v24 (CC) Premiere fle in CS5 on Windows? I'm doing some tweaking of a movie that a friend produced and edited, but he's using CS5 on Windows.

I know I'm asking the improbably, but maybe there's a way.

Thanks,

Lloyd

Could try this:

Open a New Premiere Pro Project on an Older Version -Mac - YouTube

Open a New Premiere Pro Project on an Older Version - Windows - YouTube

Tried it on CS6 and did not work (windows only, dont have a mac).

File did open in an older CC version.

Ann,

Thanks for the info, and for attempting. I'm trying to convince my friend to update to CC but he doesn't want to spend the monthly charge. I don't blame him, though, because neither of us are earning a living making movies; it's strictly a hobby. I'll probably have to export the video as a single file and let him add the audio back in.
