Opening Audio Plug-In Manager freezes Premiere Pro CC 2017

After i installed new plugins (Izotope Ozone 7, RX5 & Waves) i wanted to use them in Premiere.

When opening the Audio Plug-In Manager, Premiere just freezes and i can't click anything anymore.

The only way to get out of this state is closing Premiere in Task Manager.

I'm on Windows 10, so when i right-click the Premiere icon in the taskbar i can pick revcent projects to open. This still works when Premiere freezes, but the project opens 'frozen'.

I've  gone into Audition to see if maybe the plugins were the problem, but there the Plug-In Manager opened + scanned the plug-ins without a hitch.

Even after deleting all my plug-ins from my computer i can't open the Manager in Premiere.

I've also deleted Premiere (inc Preferences) and reinstalled to see if that was the problem.

Hi,

I am on Win 10 and use Premiere CC 2017.

I have exactly the same problem and I don´t understand, why there is no help here from Adobe Support.

All 3rd party plugin, that I need for professional work are no more available.

Can somebody from the forum help?

Same problem here (you can get out of the frozen screen with esc, btw).

I had to reinstall premiere, at which point I could no longer open the audio plugins manager. The entire UI just greys out, and any click produces a beep error until you esc out of it.

I FIGURED IT OUT!!!

Okay so here's the deal. I was actually am having this same problem. If you close your program (Premiere), then go to documents, located here C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\

From here double click on the Adobe folder and inside, delete the (Premiere Pro) folder.

I know this is super late but I'm hoping if anyone else has this issue they'll stumble across this.

It WORKED! Instead of deleting the folder, I installed the plug ins and then pasted the folder back. I needed the files from the "deleted" folder because it contained the projects I was working on...  BUT THIS SAVED SO MUCH HEART ACHE OF MISSING/LOST STUFF
