Why does my Premiere Pro open differently than all of the tutorials that I find and watch?

The tutorials are probably for a different version number than you are using.

PeruBob's correct. They did major changes to the UI especially when opening Premiere in the 2022 series. So any tutorials from earlier versions will be different.

When watching tutorials, you ALWAYS need to be aware of the version of the tutorial versus the version you're using, as there will be differences.
