I have just installed (and restarted) a .otf font. It shows up in Photoshop but not in Premiere Pro.
I'm running the latest PP 15.1.0 (Build 48), on a fast PC (32Gb Ram, 4Gb GPU).
I want to use the Legacy Title tool because I find it much easier than the newer titling tool.
Can anyone help, please?
Johnny

Premiere can be very picky when it comes to fonts.
It prefers ttf over otf.
Which font is it? Mac or windows.
Best is to get used to the EssG. The LT will be gone some day.

I found the info here very useful: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5930217/how-do-i-change-a-fonts-metadata-specifically-a-title
In my case, Premiere Pro ignored a font in a family, only showing Bold, but not Regular. PS and AE show all.
I was able to save the dominating font "VerizonNHGeDS-Bold.otf" as a slightly different font family name (using Font Forge) "VerizonNHGeDS-Bold.ttf" and now it appears in Premiere Pro.

Install FontForge and then you can open the font from your computer and using "Font Info" under the "Element" menu, you can change the font metadata, including the font name and font family.
