I've recently changed my configuration, and I continue receiving out-of-memory issues while importing and exporting files. Is there any preference I can change?
My hardware is:
I cannot understand how could memory not be enough with this

What changed? Did you see out-of-memory problems, before the recent change?
Does the same media that previously imported/exported correctly, now fail?

Before the change I didn't encounter this kind of errors. In the meanwhile I've also updated the version, now I've the last one.
The media is always the same type, from the same camera or phone and the same file format (mp4). Sometimes the same file works, sometimes not, without any preference change. While exporting, it works only if I close any other programs and the hardware work of the export takes the processor usage to the maximum: this wasn't happening before, it was slow but worked.

So, other than upgrading PPro...what was the other change you recently made? 🙂
To what format(s) are you exporting, when PPro uses all your memory?
Under PPro's Preferences --> Memory, how much RAM are you reserving for other applications? It may be worth reserving more memory for other applications, to see whether that improves the behavior.

The other change was about hardware, before I had just 16GB of RAM, CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2400, and GPU also with less GB than now.
I'm exporting in mp4
For other applications, I'm reserving the default amount, 5 GB. Also if I reserve 10 GB I encounter these problems.
