Phenom II X6 support

My setup is Phenom II X6 1605 (unlocked Athlon) + GTX750 on Win7. Recently I use version 2015. I cannot use nvenc with nvenc_export plugin due to lack of SSSE3.

I would like to use nvenc built-in in premiere. But it requires version 2020 that runs on Win10. Thus my question is which version of Premiere with nvenc support will work on my setup? I would like not to waste time in system upgrade.

Thanks

Unfortunately, none of those with hardware encoding support that was ever released. Recent versions of Premiere Pro (beginning with the 2018 version, which pre-dates the advent of NVENC support that was introduced with version 2020.2) now require complete SSE 4.2 instruction support just to even install at all. However, none of the AMD CPUs of that vintage fully support SSE 4.x instructions - meaning that the SSE 4.x support in those AMD CPUs is incomplete.

In addition, the newest 2024 version now also requires a CPU with full AVX 2 instruction support just to even install at all. Again, none of the pre-Zen architecture AMD CPUs qualify.

Therefore, for as long as you continue to use that 13-year-old CPU, you're permanently stuck with software-only encoding in Premiere Pro regardless of the GPU.
