I am getting an error which I haven't had before unless the frame rates are off and it isnt this.
I an getting the dredded camera skip/bump and not sure why as my source is fine and filmed at 24 fps. You can see that the camera bumps and im not sure why - i have deleted cache, updated version, using gpu, set mic to no input and other stuff but the camera is skipping for an unknown reason.
Even when i send to the media encoder it just exports and is a choppy mess! I just cannot find a solution unfortunately and no idea what to do.
Any help please?
SORRY! I have commited the cardinal sin! I checked everything except the frame rate in seqeunce settings - it was set to 25 not 24 - what a card!

Is the footage Variable frame rate ?
Use the MediaInfo Tool https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo To check frame rate status.
Use tree option output info and print text.
If it is Variable frame rate then convert it to constant frame rate with Handbrake encoder or Shutter Encoder. Both available as free downloads.
Then re-import Constant frame rate version to Premiere and try edit again.
