Playback issue

Hi all

I have had a search around but cant find anyone having this specific issue. When scrubbing through the timeline and then hitting the spacebar to play, Premiere freezes playback. This doesn't happen all the time but I have to reboot to be able to continue working. When it freezes I am still able to move the timeline indicator along the timeline but the output video stays frozen. I can still add or remove clips but the images in the source and program windows stay frozen. Also none of the transport buttons work either. I have tried removing all external monitor links etc and other potential issues without any luck. Any Ideas?

Sorry, just re read what I wrote, I dont have to reboot the machine when this happens, just re load Premiere.

I read your message. May we have complete details about your system and media? Does the same thing happen with a brand new project?

Hi,

the same issue here.

Version 24.0.3 on a HPZ4 workstation, Nvidia Quadro P1000 (Driver 537.58)

I made a new project, imported one 29' clip (MXF op1a XDCAM HD 1080/50i), did some edits in my timeline and the video output monitores freeze. I can edit my timline, but when I hit play nothing happens and I have to restart premiere to work again.

This also happened on Version 23.xx
