When comparing frames in the COMPARISON VIEW mode, during the display of two frames during playback, the Playhead does not stop and continues to play further in v. 23 Premiere.
This situation is also observed after deleting the cache and restarting Premiere. Fix it.

Just for the record, I can't replicate on my Win10 rigs, either desktop (Ryzen 3960x, 2080Ti) or laptop (4-year old Acer Predator w 2080Ti).
What is your rig there?

Win 11, 22H2, build - 22621.963, Intel - i9 9900 k, GPU - RTX 2070 Super, M.2 - Samsung 970 Evo Plus 3500 mb/s, RAM - Hyper 32 Gb 3000 Mh.
During playback in the Camparison View mode, the Playhead does not stop and sometimes it is not possible to stop it. Reboot only. This is a big problem. Now I am engaged in color correction of the material and damn it, it is impossible to compare the frames with each other.

I don't use any additional plugins. Only native Premiere tools, which I suffer with every time. Now it is not suitable for professional color correction of the material. When will there be a normal non-faulty workable Premiere for full-fledged work. If this continues, I will change Premiere to DaVinci. There are definitely no such problems that I face daily in Premiere.
