My premiere pro is acting weird in the last 2 projects.

If I edit for couple of hours, the timeline will slowly lagging, but only the playhead the video is fine. When I press spacebar it takes half a sec longer to play, and same thing when i hit stop. Also the same when I move the playhead, that's really irritating. I tried to close and open the same sequence its better, but it will happen the same thing again after around 30 minutes.

Premiere 2023 (23.1.0)

And I use external cooling pads.

Don't know for sure, but it could be that either your memory or your cache is filling up.

What is the Preview codec format set to in your sequence settings? Also ProRes/Quicktime?
