Hey there community,
I've discovered a bug on a recent project that's caused quite a headache.
This bug disappears when my Program Panel is set to "Composite Video" however when it is set to "Multi-Camera" I can recreate it everytime.
I've attached a screenshare video of the issue below but basically:
Whenever I copy and then paste a Mutlicam clip in the timeline, and then go to hit my "Go to next edit point" or "Go to previous edit point" with my Up and Down arrows as hotkeys, the playhead becomes frozen. What does change when I press those shortcuts though is the selection and highlight of a previous or next clip, however I can't progress pass clips that are directly touching the one I just pasted.
The Program Panel updates with the highlighted clips, but again, the playhead becomes frozen, and to unfreeze it, I must manually click in the somewhere in the Sequence.
Kind of a strange bug, but any help would be very much appreciated - thank you!

I'm now experiencing a continuation/evolution of this bug - when I have the Program Panel set to "Multicam" and I use the "Ripple Trim Previous/Next Edit to Playhead" command, the Playhead says put instead of moving, and then the playhead mobility functionality breaks.
Any Adobe response would be greatly appreciated, thank you 🙏🏼

Can confirm this problem is still repeatable, and still a VERY annoying issue in the most recent version 24 build 58.
It'd be super cool if anyone from adobe could, I dunno... reply to the 8 month old thread...
Also, after rigorous testing, this functionality is not affected in a single cam sequence, only when multicam is turned on does it become a problem, if you turn off multicam, it's hit or miss on whether it fixes it. sometimes it just goes back to normal operation, and other times when testing it made it so that after each ripple trim (even in a new sequence) you have to deselect the clip with the mouse before another ripple trim can be made.
Help us Adobe-wan-Kenobi .. you're our only hope.
