Please help - Unable to change image duration

I am unable to change the duration of an image and even after changing it to 1.4s it changes to 2.15s or 2.05s automatically. Tried everything from restarting the project, using copies of those images, uninstalling the app. This is very frustrating, please help!

Do you have the Still Image Default Duration set to seconds or frames? What is the frameraet of your sequence?

It is set to frames and I've just set the 'still image default duration' to 1.4s. I was able to change the clip duration to 1.4s with the razor tool, but still doesn't work when I manually enter the duration

What is the sequence framerate? Is it 10 frames per second?

You can only adjust the length of the image to a full frame, not a fraction of a frame on the timeline.

Do you have the timecode indicator set to audio units or frames?

What is the frames/second setting of the timeline?
