I had a webm plugin installed and working fine with Premiere Pro 2024 and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. When I removed my GPU to use my Ryzen 5 7600's RDNA 2 integrated GPU andTHEN booted Premiere Pro, the program first asked me to select at least one option to clear before loading into the program. I selected to clear media cache and plugin cache then found my webm plugin not working. I reinstalled the plugin, Premiere Pro, made various registry tweaks, and it still will not work.
So I wonder if Premiere asked me to clear something because it found an incompatibility with the AMD GPU? Is it possible that the webm plugin doesn't work with AMD GPUs, or can I fix this?

Try to update drivers for the plug-in and your AMD

Hi TrantaLocked,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Are you getting any error messages now with the AMD GPU? You may also have to check with the plugin manufacturer to verify compatibility issues.
Thanks,
Sumeet

I put an Nvidia graphics card back in my system and the plugin worked normally again. It was indeed plugin incompatibility with my AMD RDNA2 integrated graphics.
