PluralEyes Replacing Audio Tracks in Premiere With LOUD Buzzing or Silence

New Here ,
Dec 05, 2022 Dec 05, 2022

Hi, I just started using PluralEyes for syncing my audio. One issue I keep running into when I export the .xml for Premiere Pro: the second track is often replaced with a buzzing sound. Sometimes this buzzing evens out at -24 db. Other times, it's so loud that even when my computer's volume is at one bar, it's still pretty startling. Then the third audio track is straight up replaced with silence.

The issue might be related to audio drifting? I found that sometimes when the buzzing is not present, the second audio track is just slightly out of sync with the first audio track. However, PluralEyes gave me no errors related to audio drifting in the projects where this problem is present in the first place. Just to cover my bases, I tried deleting temporary sync files to no avail.

I went back into the original audio files and put them into Premiere: all three audio tracks play perfectly, not one of them has the buzzing or the silence. When I try to export a clip that was having this issue as a Video File instead of a Premiere Pro XML, all three audio tracks are fine. So why is PluralEyes messing up my audio when I try to export it for Premiere Pro?

Hello @TheoNYU,

Thanks for the message. It’s been a while since you filed this bug. I apologize for the lack of a response. Are you still having this issue? I hope not. Thanks for all the information you provided. PluralEyes is no longer an updated product; perhaps that was the issue. File a support issue with them here: https://www.maxon.net/en/support-center.

I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.

Thanks,

Kevin
