Porjects will not load Premiere 15.4.1 Mac OS Big Sur 11.5.2

So when I try to open previously saved projects the project opens and then stalls. Color wheel keeps spinning and nothing works. All I can do is force the application to quit. This happend suddenly after a crash while exporting and it hasn't worked since. Workaround is to import the saved project into a new project but obviously this is not a solution. Need help on this, get it fixed please.

Hi Abacus,

Sorry about that. Have you tried trashing preferences and/or deleting media cache? If not, try those things and then let me know what occurs, please.

Hi Abacus,

In addition to what Kevin suggested, you could try the following:

1. Once you have reset the preferences.
2. Open Premiere Pro and navigate to Window > Workspaces > uncheck "Import Workspace from Projects".
3. Try to open your project.

Hi Thanks for your replies.

Sadly I have tried all of these things. Same problems still occur when you try to open a saved project: project opens, colorwheel starts spinning and Premiere remains frozen.

So no change there
