PP2024 - Replace from Source Monitor not working as expected

Hi.
In PP2024, doing a replace edit from a sequence loaded in the source monitor always ends up as a nested sequence, despite having the dedicated "nest or not" icon in the timeline turned off.

Here is how to trash preferences:

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

OK. I did trash preferences and it's still doesn't work. Creating a new project and importing doesn't resolve the problem either.
And now I can't sync my CC profile anymore, I have a "syncing failed with error code -516" warning...
I suppose it's because I synced with an earlier version of PP, but I just don't know what to do now.

Just for your info: 2023 places with nest as well. Cannot test 2022.

Beta 24.2 replaces with clip, but when you double click on this clip in the timeline it opens the entire sequence.

So imo its just a matter of clip color, they are all nests.

So it's a feature then, I wonder why I had to trash prefs and lose an app when you said it worked, but anyway, thanks.

I dont always have time to check everything out. Dont use the feature.

Alt drag works for me.

We dont get payed we are voloteers, users just as you.

If you say it does not work in 2024 I would guess it was working for you in 2023....but apparently not.

Trashing pref does not make you lose the app.

I genuinely thought you were Adobe's people, sorry about that.
I had to uninstall PP 2022 because of CC syncing no longer working after trashing prefs. I came across this method in a subject about syncing bug. Didn't work.
Anyway, Alt drag doesn't work on my system, even after trashing prefs and making a new project.

Did not have to uninstall 2022 to sync.

2022 is no longer available.

If alt drag does not work, something is not right on your computer.

Alt drag works, it's just that the clip comes as a nest too.
