PPRo 24.2.1 build2 will not let my MSI creator 17, B11UH 241US have sound

PPRo 24.2.1 build2 will not let my MSI creator 17, B11UH 241US have sound except through my MSI speakers only. It will not play through earphones or external speakers thru the combo/audio port.

I use windows 11 pro, intel core i9-11900H, 32 gig memory, 1 tb m2 internal SSD, RTX 3080 with 16 gig ram.

However, Ppro beta 24.3 build 39 does allow audio output through speakers (Realtek) or earphones (realtek) or speakers whichever one I choose in settings.

Also, any other sound from youtube or other programs will output either msi speakers or earphones or speakers, according to how I choose in settings. But PPro release 24.2.1 absolutely will not no matter whether I change settings in the program, on the laptop, in device manager  or even when I uninstalled and reinstalled 24..2.1. 

any suggestions?

Make sure Default Input in the Audio Hardware in the Preferences is set to No Input.

Thanks and appreciate your help. Did the "no input" thing. didn't work. Installed new realtek driver, but still doesn't work in ppro full release but does work still in beta release. Works with all other apps too. Must be something in full release on my laptop (i uninstalled full release, rebooted, and reinstalled but still didn't work).
