Premere Pro Rendering Audio Extremely Slow

I just started having this issue over the past few days. Recently, my video exporting process has been extremely and exponentially longer. It used to export rather quickly, but now it gets stuck "Rendering Required Audio Files" for 30 mins to an hour or longer. I am exporting videos that are around 20 mins long for context. I thought it could be that it needed an update, so I updated the software to the current 2025 version but the problem remains. I tried deleteing my media cache but it hasn't helped at all. Its really frustrating because it worked completely fine just a few days ago- then just simply refuses to work.

What are the complete computer specs, including hard drives (how many, what kind, what is on each, what capacity, and how full)?

I am not well versed on the computer lingo but I'll answer as best I can. I am working from a current mac and have plenty of clear space. Since I cleared out years of old Premere Pro caches I have much more space haha.

Also for an update- I started exporting videos through the Media Encoder and that works fairly well. Its a fix- but it doesn't solve the issue as to why Premere Pro doesn't export...

Try resetting the preferences:
