Bonjour,

Ca me rend dingue 😑

Merci 🙌

To create transcripts of only the trimmed clips in your sequence, follow these steps:

  1. Load your sequence in the Timeline panel.
  2. Open the Text panel, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and choose Generate Static Transcript (in French: Générer une transcription statique).

Keep in mind that this method generates a static transcript of your sequence. It will not enable text-based editing, meaning any changes you make to your sequence later will not reflect in the transcript.

If you need text-based editing or want to transcribe specific parts of a clip, try the following:

  1. Load the clip into the Source Monitor.
  2. Set an In and Out point to define the portion you want to transcribe.
  3. Go to Clip > Make Subclip.
  4. Double-click the subclip in the Project panel to load it back into the Source Monitor.
  5. Open the Text panel and click Transcribe.

This approach lets you transcribe only the selected portion of a clip and supports text-based editing.
