When I play in the program it freezes and twitches, and this is a problem with the latest update and it doesn’t matter what video format you’re working with

Hello @Alexsandr Tsymbalist,

Thanks for writing in. Are you experiencing the same issue as the OP? Are you on macOS? Or is this a different problem? Please let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin

Win11. The video just jerks and the audio gets stuck for several frames, even if you use a proxy! I don’t know what the reason is, what affected this. It happened after the update

Hey @Alexsandr Tsymbalist,

Thanks for the info. Your issue seems a little different. Try this. Choose Preferences > Audio Hardware and set the Default Input to "No Input." Then, click OK. Does it work OK now? Let me know. Hope so!

Thanks,
Kevin

That "Verifying..." progress bar is macOS running a check on the Premiere Pro application, and it all happens before any Adobe code is yet running. It is supposed to take only a few seconds and happen the first time you launch a new version.

Other than updating your OS (which you said you did) or trying a full system reboot I'm not sure what else to try.
