Premier Pro stops responding during launch

Hey, there:

 

I got a lot of updates from CC.  When I try to launch Premiere Pro, it hangs up at the exact same spot.  The little dialogue box appears that says:

<<   "Adobe Premiere Pro 2022.app" would like to access files in your Documents folder.  >>

The little rainbow circle appears.  When I hover the mouse over the dialogue box, it grays out and won't respond.

I have a 2014 MacMini which I upgraded to a 2TB   SSD.

 

Any ideas?

Hi Kenneth,

Sorry. Is this Mac or PC? If Mac, are you using iCloud Drive to house your Documents? You may want to disengage that preference while you troubleshoot this option. I avoid that service for my documents folder these days. If you are on PC, describe any workflows you have going with your documents folders, such as interaction with One Drive or Dropbox. Let me know so I can help.
