Premier Proxy Issue..
I have tried to proxy my RED RAPTER MOV files in premier that have 4 audio channels but premier wont allow the ability to proxy because of the number of audio channels. So i have had to trancode them manually in media cleaner which generates only 2 audio files but then premier won't allow to import or attach the proxy files becaue the number of audio files dont match with the oroginal...
Anyone know a work around?

Hey RupertMPH,
Welcome to the community. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this problem. Are you trying to create .h264 proxies? Could you try one of the Quicktime format presets in the Create Proxies menu? Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Ishan

Thanks , I tried creating movs and thats didn't work either. Its some sort of glitch with premier that you have to have the same amount of audio channels for the original and proxy files. The only solution was to remove the audio from the original files and then sync them up afterwards, not really ideally at all...thumbs down Adobe!!!
