Premiere 2022 Default app

Hello,

Premiere 2022 projects will not automatically open 2022.  I've drilled down to the Adobe folder level and chosen premiere 2022 but it still opens the projects in 2022.  I keep old versions on because, in my experience, when a new version comes out, sometimes there are issues and I have to go back to a previous version.  Currently I have 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Tell me if you did this:

Right click any .prproj file.

Go to "Open with" and "Choose another app"

Then select Premiere 2022 and click "Always Use This App To Open Files" whatever it is

If that doesn't work you may just need to uninstall your previous versions or open files manually through Premiere. It should work, I don't know why it wouldn't
