Premiere 2023 keeps freezing whenever I select ''file > save as'' or ''edit > preference'' etc.

I got a problem with Premiere 2023 (latest version). Whenever I am working on a project and I select ''file'' it freezes and will never response. When I am not working on a video, I can use the upper taskbar until I select one of the submenus, like Save-as or open project. In the video I present here with will show what I exactly mean.

This has been happening for quite some time and I saw a fix on the community

Sadly I cannot even come to that section due Premiere will freeze after selecting it.

video example.

Does anyone know how to fix it? I already tried reinstalling and that did not solve it.

any recommendations ?

Would you be willing to follow the instructions in the link below in order to create a "dump file" of Premiere Pro (using Task Manager) once it's stopped responding, please? We can use that to determine what it's up to (there's not much to go on given how innocous your repro steps are). This file will be pretty big, so you'll need to have somewhere to upload it. Once that's done please send me a link at jschroed@adobe.com and I'll take a look. Thanks!

I have sent you email with a WeTranfer link to download the dump file that I created when Premiere was not responding.

Sorry for the delayed response, but thank you so much for generating the dump file, which clearly shows that "UnityCaptureFilter64bit" is misbehaving and waiting on something. I'd recommend uninstalling it; that should fix your problem. Thanks!

I just reinstalled the program, but like I mentioned up here, I have already tried it before and did again. Sadly it still did not solve my problem.

Is it possible because I have all my footage on a NAS? I mainly edit from there, but whenever I use my Macbook Pro and edit through the NAS with Premiere Pro, it works perfectly fine.

They I have to reinstall Windows?

LATEST

Issue has been resolved (few months back and I forgot about this post).

The fix for me was to reinstall Windows. Now Premiere works as intended.

Got the same issue as me and the things mentioned down below doesn't work?

then try to reinstall Windows. it works.

What did not work?
- Reinstalling Creative Cloud

- Reinstalling Premiere Pro

- Deleting cache

- Removing plugins

- Trying an older version
