Premiere 25.1 & 25.1.2

New Here ,
Apr 11, 2025 Apr 11, 2025

I came across a bug in the updates in the title 25.1 &25.1.2 , the new interface for frame io in Premiere  recognises an Adobe frame io "free" account (the one that comes with an Adobe creative cloud subscription, 100gb, 2 people ,5 projects) as a "Legacy" account i.e the old "free account" ( 2gb of space, etc) and therefor 'greys' out the option to upload an export to it. After literally losing an afternoon, lots of money and any confidence the client had in me, I worked out this is what it must be. Tried a previous version of Premiere (with the old interface) and hey presto - no issue. The online help from Frame io's indian call center told me to upgrade my subscription to a paid pro account to eliminate the issue - really?1?. Come on Adobe, get it together if you're gonna insist on rolling 5 million updates out a month please flippin test em before you do - we're you're costumers - NOT your test subjects !

Hey @exit23ltd. There are two Frame.io exepriences you can use in Premiere Pro 25.2. If you're seeing "Legacy" for an account in the Frame.io panel you have open, go to 'Window>Frame.io>Frame.io (Legacy)'. Otherwise, us the Frame.io V4 Comments panel. Both legacy and Frame.io V4 accounts are supported, just through separate panels in Premiere Pro. Let us know if that doesn't clear things up.

Hello, @exit23ltd,

Thanks for the report. I am Kevin, a moderator here. Frame.io support is the usual place for a support issue along these lines. Sorry they could not help you. I will let the product team know about your issue.

Feel free to open a case with us here, as well: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Ask for the video queue once a live agent appears. We should be open for a few more hours today.

We'll be open again on Monday morning at 7AM PST. Please make sure you are working wit
